Working hard through the night

 Our groups concept had a lot to do with making connections across the canal. We aimed to simplify the movement of people between Lille and Lambersard and create a living space/community in the site.

Features included:

Tramway extension through the site. From a current development in Lille, to the station created in the site, and on to a larger station north of the site which is linked with the eurostar. 

Relocating the existing highway along the existing TGV line. This gave us a lot more space and opportunities in the site.

Extension of the existing avenue over the canal and creating a large planted bridge.

Landsculpture that rises up to the tramway line and pedestrian bridge.
